The Netherlands – Recycling company Baetsen Group and magnetic sorting systems manufacturer Liquisort, both of the Netherlands, have jointly created a new company and a modern plant for the handling of electronics. Operations at the Veldhoven-based facility are scheduled to begin on October 1.
Liquisort Baetsen focuses on the sorting of non-ferrous metal fractions of up to 25 mm. The main sorting process will be based on patented Magnetic Density Separation technology, claimed to be ‘a sustainable and green’ method realising ‘significant’ carbon dioxide emission reductions.
Liquisort Recycling is part of Bakker Magnetics – a global, family-run group specialising in the manufacture of magnetic materials and magnetic systems. Also a family business, Baetsen Group focuses on recycling, international transport, crane and container rental, supply of building materials and demolition works.
