Danish tech provider M&J Recycling has introduced a new pre-shredder at the IFAT expo in Munich.
M&J Recycling’s new machinerybuilds on its proven pre-shredder platform and is powered by the company’s eDrive technology. It is developed for operations where throughput must remain stable under changing conditions.
The machine also helps maintain reliable long-term energy control while yielding significant energy consumption savings.
Not wasting energy
M&J’s P3000e targets mixed and challenging waste streams while innovative features such as UltraBoost and ReCapture ensure flexible processing. Company chief technical officer Jens Vestergaard Nielsen says operators can ‘continuously adapt’ power to the load while harvesting and reusing energy within the shredding process.
This delivers efficient operation, steady throughput, reduced wear and energy savings of up to 80% compared to conventional solutions.
‘With the P3000e, we are combining proven mechanical strength and reliability with intelligent power control,’ Nielsen adds. ‘The machine responds instantly to changing loads and keeps performance stable without wasting energy. That is what gives our customers both higher throughput and lower operating costs.’
Less wear, lower costs
The result is controlled, high-capacity shredding with reduced wear on components and lower operating costs over time. According to M&J Recycling, these advantages yield one of the lowest costs of ownership in the market. The compact and service-friendly design allows for flexible integration into existing plants, with a wide range of configuration.
M&J Recycling has more than 1 300 installations worldwide and prides itself on a strong commitment to research and development.
