EuRIC’s annual conference to deepen Circular Economy thinking

Europe – The European Recycling Industries’ Confederation (EuRIC), the umbrella organisation for the European recycling industries, is counting down to its annual conference focusing on ‘Closing Loops – Recipe for a truly circular economy’. Taking place at the Bluepoint Brussels business & conference centre, the event will feature high-level policy-makers and influential recycling industry executives.

For the 2018 event, which will take place on March 6, the emphasis will be on policy developments covering the entire value chain from product design, to the use phase and up to end-of-life recycling, alongside the hottest European regulatory issues for recyclers.

Among the confirmed speakers are: Gwenole Cozigou, director of Industrial Transformation and Advanced Value Chains at the European Commission; Sarah Nelen, head of the waste management and secondary materials unit at the European Commission; Keith Freegard, director of Axion Polymers; Thomas Papageorgiou of Anamet, chair of EuRIC’s European Shredder Group; and Chris Slijkhuis of Müller-Guttenbrunn Recycling GmbH.
