Orwak’s big-appetite baler

Sweden – New Product | A fast-running baler ‘with an appetite for large volumes’ is how Swedish company Orwak describes its 3610 model, which replaces the classic Orwak 3600 cardboard baler. The 3610 is Orwak’s largest and strongest front-loading baler and yet is ‘soft spoken’ – with a noise level of only 63.9 dB, the manufacturer points out. Features include a generous loading aperture and a high capacity for compaction of large volumes of waste, Orwak says. Meanwhile, its cycle time is 33 seconds – or 20% shorter than that of its predecessor.

With a press force of 50 tonnes, the Orwak 3610 produces commercial bales weighing up to 550 kg. The bales can either be secured by polyester straps or by steel wire. The baler is equipped with an auto-start function that allows compaction to begin as soon as the door closes. The sliding door opens automatically after each completed cycle and the baler is immediately ready to be fed with more material.
