The Plastics Recycling Show Europe (PRSE) is returning to Amsterdam in May to celebrate its 10th anniversary. Event organisers have published the outline of the conference programme.
The annual PRSE Show will take place at the RAI expo centre in Amsterdam on 5–6 May. Building on strong momentum, it is likely to break visitor records once again. The 2025 edition welcomed around 13 500 delegates from all over the world.
Rebuilding the industry
The conference opens with a high-level keynote on restoring competitiveness in European plastics recycling. Jessika Roswall, European Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy, will speak alongside Ton Emans, president of Plastics Recyclers Europe. Their session is titled ‘From crisis to competitiveness: re-building the European plastics recycling industry’.
PRS Europe 2026 will run across two conference theatres. The agenda combines keynote speeches, panel discussions and technical sessions. Topics cover:
- policy and legislation
- R&D and innovation
- markets and investment
- automotive plastics
- plastic packaging
- recycling technology
- new business models
Confirmed speakers include senior figures from across the value chain. They include:

- Gian De Belder of Procter & Gamble
- Michel Baumgartner of Europur
- Virginia Janssens of Plastics Europe
- Manfred Hackl of Erema Group
PRSE Awards
Interactive panels will tackle feedstock security, traceability, voluntary demand pledges and greenwashing risks. Innovation around these themes will be highlighted during the Plastics Recycling Awards Europe ceremony. Frontrunners in seven categories stand a chance to take the home a trophy made from recycled plastic.

Registration for the exhibition and conference is free until 5 April. After that, tickets cost EUR 50.
