United States – Germany-based material handling company Liebherr has formed Liebherr USA, Co. to provide a simpler structure and a broader reach in the market.
‘As we continue to grow our brand in the United States, we are transitioning into a mixed-sales company,’ explains the new entity’s managing director Dr Torben Reher. Liebherr USA, Co., the newly-formed mixed-sales organisation, will serve as the umbrella company, with the existing Liebherr sales and service companies becoming divisions of it.
Liebherr promoted its well-known material handlers at the recent IFAT trade show in Munich. It provided the LH 30 M Industry Litronic model for the outdoor live demonstration organised by the Association of German Steel Recycling and Disposal Companies.
