United States – US electronics recycler Round2 has inaugurated a 24 000-square-metre processing facility in Atlanta, Georgia. The company has two existing plants in Texas and one in Ohio. The new facility will increase its processing capacity by 52%.
‘Our strategic expansion into Atlanta creates green jobs and aligns with our commitment to support the National Strategy for Electronics Stewardship developed by US federal agencies, including the EPA and the GSA,’ said Paul Adamson, Round2’s VP of Corporate Development. ‘Over the next 12 months we plan to hire 200 employees for this ReDistribution Center to divert electronics from landfill.’
