The screener trough comprises a solid plate feed impact landing deck and Rolla-Gator screen deck, mounted on a natural frequency spring system. The robust primary separator weighs approximately 10 tonnes, depending on design parameters, and is powered by a sturdy drive system capable of producing a good stroke and frequency.
Material is first delivered to the landing deck of the primary screener from where stratified material travels over the Rolla-Gator screening deck. All sub-size primary cut material will pass through the deck on to the bottom deck of the conveyor. The screen deck provides the maximum available open area for screening and maximum rigidity for energy transfer, while helping to avoid both ’pegging’ and blinding.
