Liebherr targets market growth in the USA

United States – Material handling machinery major Liebherr has reinforced its sales and distribution network in the USA. The company ‘has renewed long-term partnerships and has extended its geographical footprint beyond its predominantly eastern US territory’, it reports.

The business has signed four new dealer agreements within the last month and continues to evaluate new partnerships. Liebherr′s president Peter Mayr comments: ′We want to create value for our dealers and customers, and ensure that the best available channels are in place to efficiently move our products and services and to properly compete in new markets.′

The family-owned Liebherr firm, which employs more than 39 000 people in over 130 companies worldwide, has customers in almost 50 countries on every continent. Its extensive product range includes material handling equipment and mobile cranes as well as components for mechanical, hydraulic and electrical drive and control technology.
