The machine has been designed to handle heavier engines at higher production rates and permits the automatic separation of iron and aluminium to give increased financial returns. The breaker comes equipped with either a 75-100 HP hydraulic or electrical drive package and utilises a low speed/ high torque design to minimise operational and installation costs.
The machine features an auto-reverse cycle in case of a jam-up or of unshreddable material entering the cutting chamber, thereby eliminating the possibility of damage to the chamber itself or to the drive components. Replaceable cast alloy steel cutters are designed for longer wear life and can handle the toughest of engines, it is claimed.
