German subsidiary for metals market research major

Germany – Austria-based steel and metals market research bureau SMR has established a new subsidiary in the German city of Düsseldorf. Known as SMR Premium, it will focus on the world markets for high-value metals and alloys. Target clients will be producers of remelted steels, forgings or any other high-value metals and alloys.

The new company provides market volumes, market structures and competitor analysis, as well as market forecasts. ‘As a boutique consultancy, any project will be customised to the client’s strategic needs,’ it is stressed. SMR Premium is managed by Benedikt Blitz who has been a market analyst at SMR in Austria for almost 10 years.
