Berlin is counting down to major paper conference

The Bvse, Germany’s recycling organisation, is getting ready to host the annual Recovered Paper Conference in its capital on 24 March.

The dedicated paper scrap event will be held at the Estrel Hotel in Berlin. For those not able to attend in person, the presentations will be available via live stream. Themes to be discussed include; the recyclability of new packaging, logistics trends, the impact of covid-19, innovative R&D projects as well as the waste shipment regulation.

Futurologist Matthias Horx will deliver the keynote speech. Market analyst David Powlson will share his global outlook on paper recycling, zooming in on the ‘dynamic’ and ‘turbulent’ times recyclers are facing.

The programme concludes with a networking dinner. Several leading recycling technology providers will be showcasing their latest solutions, including; Untha, Boa, HSM, Bollegraaf and Paal Group.

Please note that Recycling International will cover the conference as part of a detailed update on paper recycling, which will be featured in the upcoming issue.
