Our products reliably recover high volumes of non-ferrous metals from dry recyclables.
At BlakerTech, we design and manufacture equipment for the metal recycling industry. Our products have been tried and tested worldwide, help reduce landfill waste and save on the rising costs associated with waste disposal. Our two leading systems are the MagThro eddy current system and SandFlo fluidised bed separator. Both are easy to use, reliable and robust
MagThro
Our MagThro is a high-energy magnetic recycling system made from top quality components that remove non-ferrous metals from mixed materials in one step using a dry process.
- Made from high-grade components
- Fitted with 12 pole magnet shafts
- Neodymium rare earth magnets generate a strong magnetic force to efficiently separate non-ferrous metals from other non-ferrous mixed materials
- A fully adjustable eccentric rotor is set up to maximise the magnetic force and increase recovery rates
- Options of a two or three-way splitter to suit client requirements
- A robust framework allows walkways to be attached and hinged panels enable quick access for routine maintenance
- A range of belt widths available: 500, 750, 1,000 and 1,250mm
- The main belt is fully adjustable and can be replaced without disturbing the ECS rotor
- We hold a full stock of accessories: rotors, drums, hoppers, shakers, splitters, conveyors, drum magnets and eddy currents
- An environmentally friendly, dry process with no contaminated effluent to treat
SandFlo
Our unique SandFlo system uses aerated sand to efficiently sort secondary metals and minerals according to their density. SandFlo is ideal for the recovery of aluminium, zinc, copper and brass fractions from mixed non-ferrous metals in processing plants.
We have recently sold a standard SandFlo to a client in Dubai who owns and operates a large metal recycling company. Their objective is to separate aluminium and magnesium fragments from mixed shredder residue to produce clean aluminium and magnesium fractions for re-sale. Since its installation, our client has been impressed with the SandFlo’s performance, reporting nil heavies in the light fraction output, and have calculated they will achieve a return on their investment within nine months.
- A cost-effective system with high recovery performance
- The carbon footprint is less than 25% of an optical sorter
- An environmentally friendly, dry process with no contaminated effluent to treat
- A proven commercial solution for upgrading non-ferrous fragmented scrap
- The sand can be cleaned and reused
- Requires a single operator and can recover 2-2.5 tonnes of material per hour
- By saving costs on manual pickers, SandFlo typically pays for itself within 12 months or less
The MagThro and SandFlo are individually built at our manufacturing facility in the South East of England. We are also pleased to provide full installation, training and support.
We keep a wide range of accessories in stock including replacement rotors, hoppers, drum magnets, splitters, conveyors and much more.
