Mexico – Ferrostaal AG of Essen in Germany is set to commission its first tyre recycling plant in Mexico. Ferrostaal’s South American division is the distributor of Eldan, the Danish tyre recycling equipment specialist.
According to Ferrostaal, the customer is the operator of a major, nationwide chain of filling stations where drivers can take their tyres for recycling. The recycling plant will enable the client to process approximately 1500 kg of used tyres per hour, thereby doubling its current capacity. Ferrostaal is a global provider of industrial services in plant construction and engineering. With a presence in more than 40 countries, the company is continuing to expand its activities in the areas of recycling and environmental technology.
