The 21st edition of Aluminium China takes place from 8-10 July at the Shanghai New International Expo Center – and registration is now open.
Organisers say the event reflects the rapid transformation in the non-ferrous metals sector, driven by electrification, lightweight design and recycling demand.
Co-located trade shows
The exhibition will occupy five halls and is expected to host more than 650 exhibitors and 35 000 professional visitors. A key feature this year is the introduction of a five-show format. Alongside Aluminium China, the venue will host:
- Lightweight Asia 2026
- Copper China 2026
- Magnesium China 2026
- Shanghai International Metal Recycling Expo 2026
The integrated model connects the full non-ferrous metals value chain from primary production to recycling technologies. The combined exhibition covers around 60 000 m² of space.
Focus on international technology
Different halls highlight individual industrial segments. The materials hall highlights aluminium applications in sectors such as electric vehicles, packaging and consumer electronics. Exhibitors will present developments in alloy innovation and advanced material performance.
The equipment hall showcases manufacturing and processing technologies. Automation, digital production systems and intelligent solutions support high-efficiency aluminium fabrication.
An international hall brings together global technology providers and equipment suppliers to strengthens cross-border cooperation and knowledge exchange.
Strong industry participation
The platform is attracting leading companies from across the value chain. Organisers say the format improves resource matching and strengthens collaboration between producers, processors and recyclers.
The event also positions recycling as a strategic pillar within the wider metals ecosystem.
