Nearly two-thirds of exhibition space for the 2027 edition of Solids & Recycling-Technik in Dortmund has already been booked. It demonstrates high demand for innovative recycling solutions, according to expo organiser Easyfairs.
More than 240 exhibitors have registered for the trade fair duo, which takes place on 1 and 2 December 2027. The early demand follows a strong 2026 edition, when 370 exhibitors took part and visitor numbers increased by more than 22%.
The 2027 edition will also mark the 10th edition of Recycling-Technik while Solids celebrated its 20th anniversary this year.
The events bring together suppliers and users from the bulk materials, process and recycling industries. Technologies cover conveying, storage, dosing, mixing, crushing, screening, separation and automation, alongside fire and explosion protection and the treatment and disposal of waste.
Materials on display range from powders, dusts and granulates to recyclable materials, secondary raw materials, production residues and waste streams.
Innovative recycling technology
Recent exhibitors to register include Stadler Anlagenbau, Endress+Hauser, Hosokawa Alpine and Fike Deutschland. The organisers say the event attracts a professional audience with a strong focus on investment and procurement.
At the latest show, 60% of trade visitors were investment or procurement decision-makers. Three-quarters of these visitors arrived with a specific investment interest. Attendees represented sectors including metals, plastics, building materials, environmental technology and the circular economy.
‘Particularly in economically challenging times, face-to-face interaction within the industry continues to grow in importance,’ says exhibition director Anna Lena Sandmann. ‘The high number of exhibitors who have already registered shows that companies are actively seeking direct dialogue, new business contacts and concrete solutions.’
Industry investment
Several premium partners have also confirmed their participation for 2027. They include Rembe Safety + Control for explosion protection, Ebro Armaturen Gebr. Bröer for valve technology, Kitzmann for process plant engineering and Fr. Jacob Söhne for pipework systems.
Andreas Kühn, key account manager for bulk material technology at Ebro Armaturen, says the event provides direct access to investment decision-makers, end-users and industry partners.
Meanwhile, Germany’s federal government is putting EUR 260 million towards the new ‘Future Circular Economy’ programme in 2027.
