‘One stop shop’ for scrap and car recycling expands

United Kingdom – Two major recycling trade shows have been integrated this summer; the Metals Recycling Event (MRE) and the Complete Auto Recycling Show (CARS) are coming to the NAEC centre in Stoneleigh, UK, on 11 and 12 June.

The combi-expo is free to attend and is believed to draw some 2000 visitors this year.

The event’s headline partner is Blue Fuchs, supplier of the Fuchs range of material handlers, ZB Group range of metal shredders and Taurus balers.

Other confirmed exhibitors are Doyle Machinery, Hammel, JMC Recycling Systems and Eriez Europe, to name a few. Not only can visitors witness live demonstrations of equipment in a realistic setting, they can also discuss new opportunities in the ‘Meet the Buyer Lounge’ and attend expert sessions on leadership, management and succession planning from the Business Doctors – experts in hands on support for small and medium sized businesses.

As such, the much anticipated event is described as ‘a one stop shop for all those connected to the end of life vehicle and metal recycling sectors’.

MRE is organised in association with the British Metals Recycling Association and has been designed ‘by the industry, for the industry’.

‘We can’t wait for the 2018 edition of CARS & MRE. With the event taking place every other year, there is plenty to talk about and lots for both exhibitors and visitors to catch up on,’ comments show director Rob Mowat.

‘This year sees the arrival of the two shows at the NAEC in Stoneleigh, which is a fantastic space for the show to grow in, allowing more space for live demonstrations, indoor and outdoor exhibits, and both sector-specific and business focussed seminars,’ he adds.
