Recently, Recycling International has launched a dedicated YouTube channel. All episodes of our latest country special are now available online.
In the new episode, our editor in chief Martijn Reintjes visits the facility of Com.Steel in Calusco d’Adda. You can watch the video here. The company recycles various types of metals, such as stainless steel, iron, copper as well as electric cables and engines. Co-owner Andrea Pensotti says his business relies on machinery like the Panizzolo Mega 1500 hammer mill to get the job done.
Other uploads in this country report series include the visit to Panizzolo’s headquarters in Azergrande – where 20 recycling systems were being assembled. We’d like to thank the Panizzolo team, and especially company owner Mauro Panizzolo, for hosting our team during the week-long trip throughout Italy (including the island of Sardinia) at such a hectic time.
More country specials, trade show talks and conference reports will follow in the coming months as Recycling International goes back on the road now travel restrictions have mostly been lifted.

These interviews were recorded during the lockdown situation via Zoom to bridge the pandemic-induced gap between global recycling stakeholders, our readers and, of course, curious consumers everywhere.
