German ThyssenKrupp Technologies AG has sold its stake in Henschel Recycling Technik to an investor group in Northern Germany which has specific interests in the recycling industry and is well-established in this field. However, the name of the group is not being disclosed until a later date.
As a result of this move, Henschel Recycling Technik has been integrated into a progressive group offering improved market opportunities and a wider perspective, the company commented in a press statement.
The company’s future objective will be to move away from its previous status as a ’classic’€™ machine manufacturer towards becoming a proactive and flexible service provider to the recycling industry, concentrating on the efficiency interests of customers by means of services provided.
The existing product range of hydraulic scrap shears and car shredders is to be retained and, if necessary, extended by concentrating on the requirements of the market, and by introducing new and improved products and services for larger target groups and markets.
Johannes Krug and Detleve Freiherr von Linsingen have been appointed the new Managing Directors of Henschel Recycling Technik.
