This follows painstaking work by the BMRA and its health and safety consultant Owen David (Risk Management) Ltd.
BMRA National President and Health and Safety Committee Chairman George Bond comments: ’As far as we know, this is the first health and safety CD-ROM covering an entire industry sector. The CD-ROM is extremely user-friendly and includes a word-search facility to enable rapid access on any health and safety topic. This is yet another major advantage of BMRA membership, and I am sure that all our member companies will find the new format health and safety manual an essential and easily-accessible management tool.’
He adds that an updated health and safety CD-ROM will henceforth be sent to all BMRA members in January each year. In the interim period, health and safety updates will be posted on the members-only area of the association’s website.
