Dubai prepares for Middle East recycling conference

United Arab Emirates – The Bureau of Middle East Recycling (BMR) will host the fifth edition of its annual international conference on February 19-20 next year in the regional business hub of Dubai.

The event will cover various aspects of ferrous and non-ferrous metals recycling in the region and will be held at the Hotel Atlantis on the iconic Palm Islands. Some 300-plus delegates are expected to attend, including secondary metal producers, scrap traders, processors, consumers and machinery manufacturers, in addition to other relevant service providers.

Recycling players from the Middle East as well as industry leaders and stakeholders from the wider international community will also provide an update on current market and trade issues while exploring recycling strategies that will drive the sustainable development of this sector. A networking dinner also forms part of the event programme.
