The Netherlands/United States – US recycling technology expert Bulk Handling Systems (BHS) has acquired Dutch company Nihot Recycling Technology, which designs and produces air sorting and separation equipment for the solid waste and recycling industries.
‘Having partnered with Nihot for a number of years, I have great respect for the company’s people and product quality,’ says BHS’ CEO Steve Miller. ‘They are the best at what they do, and our new relationship will strengthen the integrated solutions that we offer our customers.’ According to Nihot Director Cees Duijn, combining the available technology, global resources and expertise will help ‘enhance every function of our business’.
With more than 500 operational references worldwide, the Amsterdam-based company’s air separation technologies are used to sort a wide variety of materials, from municipal solid waste and fuel generated from waste, to construction & demolition waste and biomass.
