Innovative recycling newcomers will be spotlighted during next month’s E-waste World Expo in Frankfurt. The event will take place on 11-12 June and will welcome 3 500 visitors and 300+ exhibitors.

Looking for new solutions and ideas to improve recycling results? Check out the Start-Up Zone, which will feature young companies like Endo Robotics, 9-Tech, Erase4Good and Re-Think.

Moreover, the Supporter Zone will feature the latest projects and initiatives from leading industry bodies and non-profits including EuRIC and Critical Minerals Association. These zones will spotlight both emerging technologies and new circularity models to encourage collaboration and ecosystem-wide progress.

All about ITAD

Attendees will also benefit from targeted networking features such as ITAD Power Hour. This is a new interactive gathering space designed to support professionals working in secure asset disposition, electronics reuse, and sustainable lifecycle management.

This dedicated hour will focus on:

  • data security
  • reverse logistics
  • resale market strategies
  • reuse frameworks

An ITAD track is being integrated into the circular electronics programme. Doing so complements expert talks about global electronics recycling developments. Major points of interest are battery recycling, critical raw materials and metals recycling.

More space, more demonstrations

This year’s expo floor plan has doubled in size, filling Hall 12 with breakthrough technologies, equipment demonstrations, and hands-on product showcases. Trans World Events underlines that visitors will have exclusive access to hundreds of live demonstrations.

Max-AI will present its AQC-Flex robotic sorting system in action, showing real-time metal recovery precision powered by AI. The Flex unit has 5 kg lift capacity and adaptable recognition capabilities. It is designed to operate across diverse material streams with minimal supervision.

Meanwhile, Thermo Fisher Scientific will demonstrate its Niton Handheld XRF Analyzers. This tool enables on-the-spot elemental analysis of lithium-ion batteries, black mass, and CRM-rich fractions.
