United Kingdom – UK-based International Industrial Metals Ltd (2IM) is to refinance and integrate its business. The new formed group will include Associated Lead Mills Ltd (ALM), Envirowales Ltd, Jamestown Industries Ltd (JIL), Jamestown Metals Ltd (JML), Jamestown Metal Resources Ltd (JMR), L&P Trading Ltd (L&P), Premium Roofing Products Ltd (PRP) and Royston Lead Ltd (RLL).
According to the company, this development ′creates a world class fully integrated lead recycling, refining and specified sheet production company capable of offering a superior customer service for soft and hard metals worldwide′. Charlie Sherling, who will continue as group business development director, said: ′The new platform is a very sound base for the continued growth of 2IM, in both home and export markets.′
Tony Mullins, who has wide experience of European manufacturing and recycling industries, has been appointed group chairman. Managing director Graham Hudson will continue to head sales and distribution of lead sheet, zinc, copper, stainless and aluminium coil at ALM and JML, together with related products for the roofing and cladding market.
L&P, the group′s waste battery and lead procurement company, aims to increase its penetration of the UK and international recycling markets under Tony Verrell.
