The 10th Sensor-Based Sorting and Control conference will take place in Aachen, Germany on 13-14 March.
Over the two days, representatives of industry and the scientific community will present new developments and applications in the sector. The conference agenda covers the entire process chain from mining to processing for primary and secondary raw materials.
The topics to be discussed are:
- Sensor-based characterisation and sorting
- Sensor-based material flow monitoring
- Sensor-based process control
- Data processing and application of machine learning algorithms
- Further development of sensor technologies
- Peripheral devices for sensor-based technologies
The first Sensor-Based Sorting Control conference took place in 2004. Since then, it has been held every two years. In 2022, 132 people from 14 different countries participated.
It is hosted by the Unit of Mineral Processing and the Department of Processing and Recycling of RWTH Aachen University. This year’s event includes a social evening event in the historic ballroom of the Altes Kurhaus.
