SandFlo™
The unique SandFlo system uses aerated sand to efficiently sort secondary metals and minerals according to their density. SandFlo is ideal for the recovery of aluminium, zinc, copper and brass fractions from mixed non-ferrous metals in processing plants.
A standard SandFlo was sold recently to a client in Dubai who owns and operates a large metal recycling company. Their objective was to separate aluminium and magnesium fragments from mixed shredder residue to produce clean aluminium and magnesium fractions for re-sale.
Since its installation, the client has been impressed with SandFlo’s performance, reporting nil heavies in the light fraction output, and it is expected to achieve a return on its investment within nine months.
