700 series E-Crane feeds shredder at Nucor

USA – A 700 series Model 4264 E-Crane has been installed at Nucor Steel Jackson in Flowood, Mississippi, USA, for the purpose of feeding car bodies into a shredder, replacing the existing Seram crane.

The new E-Crane has a duty cycle capacity of 5.5 tonnes and an outreach of 26 metres (86 feet). Equipped with a Young 3×2 bypass grapple, the E-Crane is capable of feeding two to three car bodies into the shredder per cycle.
