United States – US manufacturer General Kinematics has released the newly-engineered SXS SCREEN – claimed to be ‘the first of its kind in the industry’ and a ‘game-changer’ for the resource recovery sector.
A side-by-side screen, this unit was created to move less dense, soft materials that typically do not convey or screen well. General Kinematics developed the equipment for municipal solid waste, single stream, and commercial and industrial materials, yet many other kinds of materials can also be screened, according to the manufacturer.
Its high stroke transmits more energy into the materials for ′faster travel speed plus better separation and thus improved recovery′, it explains. Said to lower operating costs by requiring up to two-thirds less horsepower than standard, the screen reflects General Kinematics′ constant push ′to develop the best vibratory equipment on the market′, it adds.
