plastic films and flexible packaging. At its
test centre near Cologne, the company is
running multiple recycling lines to deal
with these hard-to-recycle products – not
just individually, but in parallel. ‘Anything
you see here, we can deliver straight to the
customer,’ says Andreas Jäger, managing
director of Steinert UniSort. ‘It’s not just a
test centre; it’s a showroom. It demonstrates
what we can already accomplish. We are
very proud of being a frontrunner in smart
sorting, calling on artificial intelligence to
get even better results.’
