Germany’s Lindemann Metal Recycling Solutions kicked off the
New Year with a clients’ day at the company’s production facility
in Vreden on the German-Dutch border. The event marked the
company’s 100th anniversary. Some 200 invitees had the chance
to see and hear about the latest in shred and shear tech solu-
tions.
Now, after more than two decades as part of the Finnish Metso
group, the metal recycling machinery specialist is again operat-
ing as an independent entity from its Düsseldorf head office
under the wings of Swedish investor Mimir and led by ceo
Ioannis Giouvanitskas.
Lindemann believes global demand for steel will continue to rise
in the medium term and demand for secondary raw materials
such as steel and scrap metal will also increase significantly.
Obviously, the company says, this is having a very positive
impact on machinery sales.
