Rehrig steps forward by expanding reverse operations

United States – US reusable packaging and recycling player Rehrig Pacific Logistics has brought on stream a new reverse logistics plant, specialising in plastics reprocessing.

Located in Rancho Cucamonga, California, the latest facility takes the company’€™s nationwide network to 10. It is designed to produce high-quality HDPE regrind, and thus provide closed-loop recycling for waste producers including major retailers and local materials recovery facilities.

Besides plastics recycling, the new plant will provide services such as pallet management, asset exchange, supply chain consulting and sustainability services.

Company President Matt Dannenfeldt said: ‘€˜Our new facility will enhance Rehrig’€™s complete recycling programme that can help reduce landfill waste and enhances our customers’€™ corporate sustainability objectives.’€™
