‘Order books remain full,’ claims Erema

Global – Plastics recycling volumes are growing rapidly worldwide and, as a result, Erema has seen its order intake increase by 30% over the last two quarters compared to the corresponding periods a year earlier.

The Austria-based plastic recycling systems and technologies developer confirms that plant sales alone accounted for a turnover of Euro 57 million (US$ 78 million), largely thanks to ′sensational initial sales figures′ for INTAREMA, a new generation of systems featuring ′innovative counter-current technology′ which was launched in 2014.

′The order books remain full′ for the coming months and ′expectations for the current quarter and thus the fiscal year as a whole are high′, says the firm. Based on current order files, Erema expects a record turnover of around Euro 28 million for the first quarter of its 2014/15 fiscal year, declares ceo Manfred Hackl. Erema predicts total sales will climb 10% to Euro 110 million.
