United States – The American part of Untha Recycling Technology, based in New Hampshire, has introduced a new version of its RS40 series four-shaft shredder.
Unlike the stand-alone version, this machine is designed to be used by recycling system builders and integrators where a hopper, stand, cladding, etc. are not necessary.
The RS30 and 40 series shredders were completely re-designed in 2010 and offer a variety of standard features, such as two-piece mechanical seals, wear plates, a central lubrication system for the front bearings and gearbox oil level monitoring. The units are suited to wet or dry applications such as the processing of e-scrap, wood and plastics.
