United States – US firm Green Line Polymers (GLP) has installed what it claims to be the largest recycling line that Austrian company NGR Plastics Recycling Technologies has ever built. The new equipment is capable of handling more than 4000 lb (1800 kg) per hour of virtually any kind of plastic scrap.
The new recycling line has been installed at a site in Pandora, Ohio, and will treat high volumes of post-industrial PE scrap materials, according to polymer products recycler GLP. This recycled product will then be a ‘raw material building block’ for the corrugated piping products and water management solutions manufactured by its parent company ADS.
According to NGR, the key benefit of its latest plastics recycling line is the ‘One-Step Technology’ utilising a shredder-feeder-extruder combination which is said to enable maximum energy efficiency while minimising material handling steps.
NGR has also announced the recent delivery of its 1000th plastics recycling line.
