Scrap metals specialists to gather in Moscow

Russia – Rusmet, the Russian metals market research company, will stage its 10th international ‘Ferrous and Non-Ferrous Scrap Metals’ forum on February 19-20 next year in Moscow.

Organisers expect to welcome: overseas scrap suppliers, scrap procurement and processing companies; consumers from metallurgical plants and mini-mills in Russia and elsewhere; importers; scrap processing and handling equipment manufacturers; traders; shipping and logistics firms; and representatives of industrial associations, and other officials.  

Topics to be addressed at the congress will include: ferrous and non-ferrous scrap metals markets in Russia and worldwide; ‘white, grey and black’ exports-imports; the international market and duties; recycling programmes; funding of recycling: recycling fees; vehicle recycling developments; and recycling business efficiency.
