UK/USA – UK-based European Metal Recycling (EMR) is expanding its New Orleans operations in the USA with the addition of a new mega-shredder at its Southern Recycling (SoRec) facility.
The 7000 HP unit is scheduled to become operational in October this year.
Established and headquartered in New Orleans since 1900, SoRec operates a network of full-service recycling facilities from Lake Charles in Louisiana to Tampa in Florida. SoRec was acquired by EMR five years ago.
