Asia – The annual China Recycling Resources Industry Convention (CRRA) will be held from 27-29 April in the riverside city of Changsha. CRRA is the only official association of end-of-life vehicle recycling in China.
In the past two years, due to the world economy’s slump, Chinese economy is slowing down with market demand retrench, the event organizers observe. Unsurprisingly, the recycling industry is also suffering from quite serious difficulties. But the recycling industry is the ‘key supporting industry’ to low-carbon, energy-saving and environmental friendly green economy.
With more and more emphasis and attention to energy saving and emission reduction and to support recycling industry by the national government, recycling industrial policy atmosphere is getting better with a ‘quite promising outlook’. Hence Chinese recycling industry is said to be facing ‘unprecedented development chances and huge space’.
In line of this trend, the theme of the event is ‘The New Chances and Challenges of Chinese Resource Recycling Industry under the New Normal’. The organisers expect domestic and overseas resource recyclers to participate for discussions about industrial trends, information exchange, business cooperation, trade show, co-development and display industrial development achievements.
