Germany – A global online B2B trading platform known as Onlinewastexchange.com has been launched by a company located at Isernhagen in Germany which specialises in the exchange of non-hazardous waste and recyclable materials.Onlinewastexchange was established in late 2012 and deals in anything from e-scrap and plastics to metals, glass and textiles. ‘Our explicit aim is to increase global connectivity between producers and receivers of waste materials, which reduces waste disposal, increases recycling rates and generates economic value for buyers and sellers,’ states the company.
The new and free trading platform does not directly buy or sell materials but presents ‘a cost- and time-effective alternative to traditional brokers’.
