On May 9th, South Wales Shredding, located in South Glamorgan, South Wales, successfully completed the audit required for NAID Certification of its mobile document shredding operation. On May 9th, South Wales Shredding, located in South Glamorgan, South Wales, successfully completed the audit required for NAID Certification of its mobile document shredding operation. This makes the company the first in the UK to achieve NAID Certification, the 4th company in Europe, and the 11th company outside the USA. The mobile shredding truck used to provide the on-site shredding service was supplied by AXO Shredders Ltd of Bedford, UK. The AXO 608 Mobile Shredding Truck is capable of shredding waste office documents at a rate of over 2000 kgs per hour. There are other international NAID Certification audits currently, pending and the Association expects to be announcing a growing list of ’first-in-the-country’certifications as the program continues to expand globally.
