MaSeR Corporation has announced the installation of We3 Recycler electronic waste management software from Green Oak Solutions to run business processes at its state-of-the-art processing facility in Barrie, Canada. The MaSeR Recovery Process upgrades composite materials, such as electronic scrap generated by electronic recyclers as well as various composite metals and metal/plastic composites generated by scrap metal recyclers. The advanced separation and recovery process minimises material handling costs and maximises the value of the recovered commodities. MaSeR offers recyclers a fully accountable, domestic recovery solution for these difficult-to-manage materials.

* Lubo USA
Lubo USA of Stamford, Connecticut, has announced the placement of numerous TiTech VisionSort optical sorters. The company began importing the units in the spring of 2004 and serves as the sole North American distributor. Nearly 1200 of the TiTech automated separation units have been installed at material recovery facilities. The units analyse the input stream using a scanning sensor installed above a conveyor belt. The sensor identifies materials, shapes, textures and colours as well as the object position. US companies to have recently installed TiTech systems include: Waste Management Recycle America, Colgate Paper Stock, TFC Recycling, Allied/BFI and Schupan Recycling.

Cimco Recycling of Sterling, Illinois, USA, has awarded an installation and consulting contract to The US Shredder and Castings Group for its forthcoming 80104 complete shredding system. The US Shredder and Castings Group offers complete scrap shredding systems as well castings, service and consulting to the North and Central American scrap industry.
