The XLC 7300 is said to be suitable for almost any kind of ’waste’ and boasts a capacity of up to 200 tonnes per hour.
Size of shredded materials can be adapted to user requirements using a patented, adjustable counter-cutter system. A square working surface of 2.7 metres by 2.7 metres is said to avoid bridging even when fed by a large bunker crane. Unshreddables are easily and safely extracted via a hydraulic ejection door while all wear parts can be easily dismantled to facilitate and cut the cost of maintenance.
A pair of XLC 7300s went into operation at the beginning of 2009 at an incineration plant close to the Austrian capital Vienna. The customer chose these shredders for their sturdiness as well as for their low operation and maintenance costs, according to the manufacturer.
