Advanced sorting systems are crucial for recyclers looking to maximise material recovery. Innovations in this field will be presented at the ninth Sensor-Based Sorting & Control Conference the two-day event which will take place in Aachen, Germany, from 13-14 April 2022.
The deadline for abstract submission (in English) is 11 October. The conference organiser is encouraging industry stakeholders to participate now that life after the pandemic is gradually getting back to normal. Next year’s gathering provides a well-established networking platform for scientists, developers, manufacturers and plant operators to exchange know-how and experience. Many parties have already submitted their abstracts.
Presentations may cover the following topics:
• Sensor-based characterisation and sorting
• Sensor-based material flow monitoring
• Sensor-based process control
• Data processing and application of machine learning algorithms
• Development of sensor technologies
• Peripherals of sensor-based technologies
Topics may refer to theoretical and practical aspects, methodological and empirical approaches as well as case studies and research activities. Application-oriented contributions are welcome.
The deadline for submission of full papers is 11 January.
