United States – Ferrous, non-ferrous, alloys and e-scrap recycler Sadoff Iron & Metal of Wisconsin has acquired fellow US recycling player Aluminum Resources for an undisclosed sum. ‘This acquisition adds a niche market for us that complements our current aluminum and non-ferrous business activity,’ says Sadoff’s ceo Mark Lasky. The acquired business will take the name of the parent company and be known as Sadoff Iron & Metal Company.
Founded in 1988, Aluminum Resources is a processor and supplier of foundry- and mill-grade recycled aluminium products. Prior to the acquisition, Sadoff already ran nine recycling operations in Wisconsin and Nebraska.
