Over 7000 visitors will flock to the German city of Dortmund this November to take a look at advanced recycling solutions on display at the Recycling Technik expo. The two-day fair will host innovations by more than 500 exhibitors.
The entire spectrum of recycling technologies will be represented during the 5th edition of Recycling Technik on 7 and 8 November at the expo centre Messe Dortmund.
‘We clearly see the growing interest in recycling reflected in the growth in registration numbers,’ says Daniel Eisele, representative of event organiser Easyfairs. In fact, the number of exhibitors has increased by no less than 25% compared to 2016.

Welcome the innovators
To further boost progress, the expo includes a dedicated ‘InnovationCentre’ in Hall 7. Here, 100+ talks about cutting-edge technology, changes in legislation, business trends and other important developments will educate and inspire visitors.
Topics to be discussed are; eco-design, plastics recycling challenges, packaging targets, construction & demolition recycling opportunities, and many more.
At the SolutionsCentre, producers of advanced recycling solutions take the spotlight. Also, live demonstrations of dust explosions will be held multiple times per day on the outdoors premises.

Matching up
‘At Recycling Technik 2018, exhibitors have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with serious buyers and decision-makers from recycling companies as well as manufacturing enterprises,’ according to the organiser. ‘They have responsibility for various products and technologies to enable proper collection, sorting and processing of re-usable materials.’
Additionally, a matchmaking event in hall 7 will allow visitors to make meaningful connections.
On the ice…
The two-day expo also hosts a unique ‘networking on ice’ event on 7 November. Taking place at the next-door ice skating rink, delegates may enjoy many delicacies from a ‘pre-Christmas market’. Special activities include air hockey, reindeer rodeo and festive photo opportunities.
