Pollutec Horizons becomes World Efficiency event

France – The long-running Pollutec Horizons exhibition, held every other year in Paris, is being rebranded as World Efficiency to underline its focus on all kinds of ‘€˜eco-innovation’€™. The exhibition and conference will run October 13-15 at Porte de Versailles, and expects to atttract more than 20 000 French and international visitors.

The World Efficiency congress will have seven main themes across its 15 000 square metre floor space: energy generation; water management; building and development; industry of the future; production and materials; transport and mobility; and agriculture and food. Meanwhile, the Pollutec exhibition in Lyon will remain as it is.

According to the organisers, there will be particular emphasis on finding ‘different’ approaches to production, construction, development and transport. They will seek to highlight projects and solutions tailored to specific geographical locations.

A shared ‘Nordic Efficiency’ pavilion is planned for the first time at the event under the auspices of the Nordic Council, with Denmark, Sweden, Norway, Finland and Iceland highlighting their environmental initiatives.
