Personnel moves at Bunting Magnetics Europe

Europe – Bunting Magnetics, the manufacturer of precision magnetic products and systems, has announced personnel appointments for its European subsidiary. According to company president Robert J. Bunting, the new set-up will ‘enable Bunting Magnetics Europe to solidify its market presence and strengthen customer relations and outreach in the very important European and Middle Eastern market’. Simon Ayling has been installed as managing director of Bunting Magnetics Europe after serving as its general manager for two years. He was previously employed for 10 years in various production and supply chain roles at Magnet Applications, and was operations manager at Fine Group – a textile assembly manufacturer.
Meanwhile, Bunting has named Clive Wright as general sales manager. Trained as an engineer before moving into sales, he was based in Singapore for eight years and thus has ‘€˜extensive experience setting up distributors in Europe and around the world’€™, says the magnetics specialist. In addition, Robert Webb has been appointed as finance director, bringing with him 30 years of accountancy experience. He also possesses commercial and organisational credentials which he gained at electronics company Pioneer.
