Novelis VP honoured for Lifetime Achievement

United Kingdom – The Lifetime Achievement Award at the Platts 2015 Global Metals Awards ceremony in London went to Tadeu Nardocci, senior vice president at aluminium processor Novelis Inc. and president of Novelis South America.

Nardocci, who previously served as president of Novelis Europe and md of Alcom in Malaysia, was awarded the honour for his dedication to advancing the aluminium industry globally over the past three decades. He was praised for ‘providing strategic direction for the industry on two continents’ in his roles as chairman of the European Aluminium Association (EAA) in 2011-12 and vice president of the Brazilian Aluminum Association (ABAL) in 2008.

Established in 2013, the Platts Global Metals Awards recognises outstanding performance in a dozen categories across the steel, metals and mining industries.
