New distribution hub to enhance Caterpillar’s service

The Netherlands – Manufacturer of excavator and wheel loader attachments Caterpillar Tools has opened a new distribution centre at Den Bosch in the Netherlands.

According to the company, the facility will ensure shorter shipping times as well as increased product availability to customers and dealers across Europe, Africa and the Middle East, as well as the CIS. The 9000 square metre centre, which consolidates the distribution from several other locations, houses hydraulic tools including grapples, hammers and shears as well as fabricated work tools such as buckets and brackets.

‘Our priority is to offer a first-class service to our dealers and customers by delivering products promptly and accurately,’ comments general manager Bob Paternoga. ‘The location will enable us to best respond to the anticipated increase in demand over the next years.’
