Kilsta Metall AB acquires facility in North Sweden

Archiv – Swedish metal recycling specialist Kilsta Metall AB has acquired the environmental and recycling company Ragn-Sells AB’s metals processing facility in Norrkoping, Sweden.
The acquisition price was not disclosed. The acquisition will significantly increase Kilsta Metall’s metal shredding capacity, as well as its earnings capacity. The acquisition follows on a cooperation agreement signed earlier this month between Kilsta Metall and Ragn-Sells.
Kilsta Metall, headquartered in Karlskoga, Sweden, is a recycled metal treatment company producing aluminium shreds and alloys. The company was established in 2006, and reported a turnover of SEK40.5 million (US$ 6.9 million) in its first 16-months of operation.
