IPP Logipal targets bigger e-scrap market

The Netherlands – Dutch pallet-pooling specialist FHG IPP Logipal has appointed Dan Cronin as European key account manager at its waste electrical and electronic equipment (WEEE) business unit. ‘This move is meant to underline our ambition for growth in the e-scrap pooling market,’ the company states. Cronin previously worked for Sims Recycling Solutions and European Metal Recycling. In his new position, he will cater to the pallet-pooling needs of new customers in various unexplored e-scrap markets across Europe. Pim van der Vorst, industrial business unit director at IPP Logipal, describes Cronin as an ‘expert in the field of WEEE compliance’ who has established a strong network in the electronics recycling sector over the years.
IPP Logipal is currently the second largest pallet provider in Europe. Headquartered in the Netherlands, the company also has offices in the UK and France.
